leaking flat roof

i have a leaking flat roof, i believe it is caused by some screws that were hammered into the felt! and they are taking in water, im no diy expert!! could someone please tell me what would be the easiest and cheapest way of repairin leaks!

mark baldwin,
If its a tar and felt roof get some solid bitumen, remove the screws and melt the bitumen into the hole. If you don't fancy this used a felt repair mastic instead. Either way your roof needs to be dry for a successful repair.
