We have a flat roof that was built with the house in the 60's. We've had a new flat roof on the extension three years ago and its only leaked since then. My partner lived here from then and she says there was ceiling plaster that came down inside when they did it and a crack along the steel line. I'm assuming that the water is coming from there as there's a cavity tray just above the flat roof level.
water seems to be seeping under the brickwork sitting on the steel on the outer skin and dripping onto the ceiling causing a damp patch.
is there a fix for this issue, assuming I'm correct that its the flat roof thats the problem as it only leaks when there's driving rain and wind, which is normal on Anglesey
