I have a flat EPDM roof which has a slight leak somewhere. I can't see any tears so I'm assuming that one of the lap joints is faulty. I'm thinking of using a flexible sealant painted along each join. All of the sealants that I've seen do not specifically recommend use on EPDM. Does anyone have first hand experience of a sealant that will work on my roof?

Rubber products and their derivatives do not like solvent or acid so suggest you try a neutral cure silicone. Its success will depend on feeding the silicone into any loose overlaps which must be perfectly dry. Not a job fir this time of year.
