Where can I buy unusual sized floorboards?

I damaged some floorboards pulling them up to do some plumbing. :(

I assumed that I could buy some new lengths and piece them in.

However I have found the size impossible to get.

The boards are 133 x 19 mm or 5 1/4 x 3/4 inches.

I only need about a square metre.

Any suggestions where I might get these? :P

They are to go under carpet so I am not concerned about their finish.

Get some oversized and trim them down to fit.

I had this same issue when replacing some floorboards recently. I just assumed floorboards would be sold in the size I needed (which was 22mm thick and about 160mm wide). But we could only find tongue & grooved boards, and they were the wrong thickness. We resorted to plywood and cut it to size. I think our only other option would have been to visit reclaimation yards.

I thought of this but they do not make them any wider with the same thickness. Also where I need to fit several the T&G would be lost

Go and talk to the nice man in the timber merchants and tell him what you want. If you're looking in the sheds you'll be wasting your time as the timber is carp anyway.

Cheers.
