new oak floors in dubai - HARD TO MAINTAIN - HELP!?!?!?!

:( Just put in new dark oak flooring.... live in Dubai and now all the dust and every spot/mark from any type of shoe is being noticed!?!?! I am wondering if there is a special seal to put on it so that i am not spending every minute of every day wiping down the floor...obviously don't mind sweeping up ... but getting rid of blotchy marks is crazy!!!
