laying tongue and groove on concrete

by spikejack » Tue Jul 28, 2009 3:11 pm

Is there anything specific that I need to do. Can I fit the flooring straight onto the concrete, will I need to glue the flooring down. What thickness will the flooring have to be. I will be leaving an expansion gap and fitting skirts over the flooring. after fitting will I have to seal the flooring before varnishing. Is it better to use a stainer varnish or separate stainer and varnish. Please help as wife starting to give me earache

many thanks

karl
