I live on a first floor flat and my house is getting a make over.
I am putting wooden flooring on in my house, but iv got these old tiles stuck fast onto the floorboards in my kitchen,is so so so much hard work, even with the bolster and slow progress that me and the chippy have given up.
My question is, is there another way i can get the tiles up and quickly.
Or can i put flooring ontop of the tiles, like the chippy said i could do.
Thanks.

Just go over the top of them as long as they're pretty flat and even.

Its impossible to make it even when the tiles in small bits come up.
The joiner will look at it on monday, hopefully he can sand it down.

Maybe use some self leveling compound and skim over the top of it all
