Mushroom like fungi growing in laminate floor

About 12 months ago we put a new bevel edged laminate flooring in our bathroom. I noticed recently that the door is sticking upon opening and that the bevelled edges have risen slightly. No water is escaping from the shower so assumed it was just water drops from when we get out of the shower. The edge of laminate floor by the door now has what looks like mushrooms growing out of it (there is no flooring adjoining the bathroom floor on the landing at present). This is across the length of the doorway. Having looked at pictures on the web I think they may be "Cellar Cup" fungus. There is a green chipboard type underlay beneath the laminate flooring.

Is it possible that this is what it is and what is the cure. The flooring is lifting approx three feet of the way into the bathroom!! Help!!!

maryelaine,
It has to be water getting into the chipboard underlay, you are going to have to take up the floor and see if piopes have been laid in the underlay.
