hi hope someone can help!
i have just brought a 1930's house and want to lay solid oak flooring in the living room.
it is a concrete floor
the boards are 18mm thick.
basically i want to know the best way to lay the flooring.
i have been told about a bitumen glue that can be painted on floor and the flooring layed direct on top.
another method i was told about was to lay ply wood and builders paper then nail the boars on top
what is the best method???
thanks anyone who can help
