laminate flooring

Can you put kitchen units on top of click (laminate) flooring. we are in the process of doing over the kitchen and don't know if we should wait until the kitchen units are inplace to put down the laminate flooring.

thanks for all the replies!?! One call to the kitchen designer at the DIY store answered the question for me- in case you are wondering the answer is no you can't put the units on top of the flooring as it has to be able to move slightly.

I am doing the samething to my kitchen and if you can't put the cabints on the flooring then what to do with the ref. and stove. do I have to cut around them.not a good idea if my wife tryes to move the ref. somewhere else? thanks[/quote]

laminate flooring is not suitable for Kitchen.
