Best way to cut close to a wall

by alanj » Mon Dec 17, 2012 1:53 pm

Hi, I am replacing my chipboad flooring with ply. But some of the stud walls are built on top of the flooring so that section can't be removed. I want to cut the chipboard as close to the wall as possible - what is the best way to do this?

I've found some Exakt mini saws which look nearly the right tool, but they have limited depth of cut ( 12mm ) and can not cut into corners or even close to in some directions due to the "handedness" of the handles.

I've previously tried using a hand flooring saw, but frankly that took forever.

Is there anything else out there that might do the job?

Cheers
Alan
