Have just fitted engineered wood flooring, this was left for nearly a week before started fitting.
Been finished a couple of days and a section next to a doorway is what I can only say is floating.
I walk over this section about 2ft square that drops. The floor underneath seems level and the 10mm gap seems right.
Don't know about under door frame but looks clear
