What Coating to use and How to Renovate Wood Flooring

Hi,
We have wood flooring that has become quite badly worn / damaged in and around the baloncy door area. Presumably due to a mix of sunlight and condensation over time.
A couple of photos are attached.
We'd like to know what we can do to try and spruce up this area a bit, to at least get some of the colour back. However we're not sure what the original coating on the wood was -- oiled, varnished or polished.
Is it possible to tell what the original finish was from the photos?
In terms of 'repair', what would the recommended process look like?
Obviously in terms of preparation it all needs a good clean up first, but getting the wood too wet isn't a good idea either....
The final photo is from another part of the house, just to show what the normal look is more like.
I thought initially something like Teak Oil might help, but then considered actually maybe the wood has been varnished...
