Cracking and Blistering on Solid Wood Laminate Flooring

Please see attached photo. We bought our flat 6 years ago and this click together solid wood flooring was already installed. I’m guessing it’s at least ten years old.
This is a particularly bad bit but it’s happening in a few places. The black line is not a groove but either side of it is disintegrating and is rough to the touch. Is it just wear and tear? We don’t do anything but walk on it - no regular dragging of furniture or anything.
Any advice much appreciated.
