Yorkshire Stone Kitchen Floor and Protect Stone
Posted: Wed Oct 31, 2018 7:47 pm
Good evening,
I’m in the process of renovating my new purchase, a 1890 Cottage.
In doing so we have discovered the flooring to be Yorkshire Stone. This was a great surprise and we are going to keep the stone in the kitchen / diner as it will be a great feature.
We have removed the stone, damp proofed and insulated / concreted. We will be relaying the stone in due course.
Does anybody recommend what I can use on the stone to protect it from staining? I know it does stain easily so Id like to prevent this as much as possible.
Any ideas are welcome.
Many thanks,
Matt
