Repairing gap in Floor From a Removed Partition Wall
Posted: Thu Jan 31, 2019 3:01 pm
We recently removed a wall in our kitchen/living space. It's left a gap that we're trying to fill ourselves.
I've attached an image of the floor layers next to the gap.
The measurements from top to bottom are approx: 21mm, 20mm, 57mm, 12mm.
I have two questions.
1) What are the four layers made of? (I can spot chipboard and timber)
2) Any recommendations for how we should go about filling in the hole? Should we just lay each layer down in the gap to fill it? Do we nail some of it down?
Thanks,
Pieter
