Engineered Wood Floor Laid on Concrete Base That Creaks

Hello,
I wonder if I could pick your brains please. I hope this is the correct forum to post.
Recently I laid an engineered wood floor with a 1cm expansion gap all around, onto a concrete floor. The floor looked good but however it creaked and we though that it was because the concrete wasn't completely level underneath. The concrete had been laid a few years previous and had been walked on a lot. So, I took the floor up and got a prefessional in to install a new, level screed. They also laid down the underlay for me. I then reinstalled the wooden floor using mostly the floor that I had previously lifted up, with a few new planks where necessary. My issue is that the floor still creaks. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this might be, and perhaps any tips to remedy it? Your help would be much appreciated. Thanks. Emma
