We have a fairly large kitchen that is over a crawl space. There was indoor/outdoor carpeting down when we bought the house. This didn't seem very sanitary in a kitchen and we replaced it with vinyl tile squares. The pattern wore off of these in the areas where the chairs slide. We then installed ceramic tile. Because the floor sags a little, an entire line of tiles cracked. Need to put something else down and don't know what. The laminate hardwood doesn't seem sanitary either since spills could seep between the planks. Vinyl sheet would require a seam. Any suggestions on what would be the best solution?
