I recently had laminte floors put in. The constrution guy never came

back to do the trasition pieces where the laminate floor and the wood

floors meet each other. Also he left a gap where the floor ends, and

where the closet doors are. I know how to do the transition pieces

where the two floors meet, but I don't know how to finish the gap

where the floor ends and where the beginning of the closest are.

Help!!

Gaps in laminate flooring are usually covered by what is called a quadrant bead. The gap is left for expansion and covering it with the bead, in this case fixed to the closet, will allow the floor to move under the bead. Quadrand beads are available from all DIY stores and builders merchants and can even be bought to match most types of laminate flooring.
