Please can someone tell me the pros and cons between, Laminate Floor, Engineered Wood layer floor, or solid wood floor.
I want to do Lounge through to Halll through to Dining Room.
I can find solid oak floor(oiled) on the internet for a good price(have seen a sample), but I don't know which I should choose.
I am worried about movement after laying, durability, scraches and stains.

There are so many different types of flooring available today...I fit most so ill try and help as much as possible
I have found though fitting that laminates sratch alot less then solid and enginereed so if yor walking about in high heels all day go for the laminate flooring :D but i think u can't beat the real wood for looks
Solid flooring and enginereed flooring has alot more factors to fitting.
What is your subfloor? wooden floorboards/chipboard or concrete?
In all these woods there are several gradings, so the cheap oak you have seen may be a knightmare for you to fit.
You can also get enginereed wood now which has the same locking devise as laminate flooring which is easier to install than solid wood.

Which ever one u choice let me know and ill try and advise u in fitting.
