I want to lay a concrete base for a shed, have made the formwork for 3" hardcore and 5" concrete, but the ground slopes at 1 end by a further 6" so do I need to lay a base at the deepest end to account for the extra depth, or will the 9" compacted hardcore remain in place if I attempt to complete the base in 1 go. :D

If you need an excellent hassle free base for your new shed, Shed-Base.co.uk do one with adjustable feet which means it's perfectly level. Call me (Alex) if you'd like more info (07590 067 121). Hope this helps. PS We do a base for Greenhouses also. Far easier than laying concrete or heavy paving slabs, and you can move the shed if you need to, within your garden, or take it with you if you move house.
