Flooring over Drainage and Inspection Covers in Extension to Rear of Garage

HELP NEEDED......

I have just lifted our tiled floor in the extension/utility to expose an inspection cover for drainage...it looks like this was an extension to the rear of the garage and the original inspection cover had tiles just laid straight over the top of the inspection chamber. Cowboy builders by the looks of things.

I am reconfiguring the utility and wondered if i can manage with this in situ and lay new tiles over this?...if so can i get a particular cover that will accept tiles or that can be capped permanently seeing as though there is another inspection chamber further along in front of the house or whether i have to move it?..

Your help would be much appreciated

you can buy an airtight cover,(screwdown type) its best not to cover it, if your going to move it seek professional advice

Thanks for that. I have another inspection chamber outside so that seems a good idea. At least I can still check the system if need be. Cheers
