Gas safety Checks/Landlord Certificates

Can any RGI explain to me the difference between a GAS SAFETY CHECK & LANDLORD CERTIFICATE regarding the checks undertaken by the gas engineer?

There is little or no difference between the two, probably only in the document heading. During gas safety checks, Soundness test on pipework and all gas appliace operation are checked as in Landlords.
