I need a new boiler as the old ideal standard is not very eco freindley
I have 14 radiators, 2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms with wash basins, the house is 3 storey with 2 30ft lounges.

Would a combi supply all that hot water or do i need a free standing boiler
and what size.

Whether it's wall mounted, free standing, back boiler etc etc is irrelevant.

You can get freestanding combi boilers.

A combi wouldn't be much use to you if you want to use the 2 bathrooms at once.

You need a RGI to come to the house, look at what can go where, and measure up/design the system, you cannot just go and buy a boiler - then hope it's adequate to heat the house.

a combi would be of no use at all in that sized house, there is also no real reason to fit a floor standing boiler either, you can get a sufficiently sized wall hung boiler to do the job efficiently i would also reccomend an unvented mains fed cylinder-costs more to buy but the benefits outway the cons
