Water Tank Empty

My Boiler heats the tank in my attic. I am told this is approx (100 litres)When I run a bath, I run out of hot water and the bath only has approx 3" of water in it. The water does not go cold, it just runs dry. This has always happened since I moved in.

Should it run dry? How can I increase my bath water (no more room in attic for a biiger tank)

Thanks

JabberUK,
You don't say whether you have a hot water cylinder and cold water tank in the loft, is the hot water mains fed? We need this information to be able to advise you.

I just have the one hot water tank with a header tank that feeds it.

JabberUK,
In that case your problem stems from the header tank running dry.
Possible causes are low mains pressure, partially blocked ball valve or header tank not big enough.
Start by checking the ball valve - if it is not blocked you may need to fit a low pressure valve. If the flow is not sufficient you could fit two ball valves.
