Hi

I'm am currently getting things ready to install a new kitchen. However the kitchen has been designed in a way we will have the cooker in a new position

The current position is straight in when facing the end of the kitchen and must be moved to the adjoining wall, which will be around 2 meters away from where the gas pipes are now.

Can I move these pipes myself and arrange for a corgi registered person to sign it off? If so, what is the cost of this.

If I am not allowed to move the pipes mysef, how much roughly, will it cost to do and be signed off?

Thank you

You can move any gas pipes in your house but you can not turn the gas back on before a gas safe registered person has passed it.
