Insert for Fire basket?

Hiya, I wonder if anyone can help me. I have recently purchased an old wrought iron fire basket with a gas fire insert and I would like to change the gas fire insert. Can I purchase these inserts for a fire basket as I've only seen inserts appropriate for a fireplace. I know they exist as most manufacturers sell the fire baskets + insert but will not sell the insert seperately.
I would appreciate any help/advice on this.
