Boiler condensate pipes

Hi
Just looking for some info. I had a gas inspection yesterday and he said that the fittings on the condensate pipe from the boiler were wrong. The boiler has been in for about 5 years now and this is the first time it has been mentioned.

Pipes are all plastic, but the elbows are standard brass compression types. Do they need to be changed to plastic?

I know it's not a big job, but just checking first

Thanks

They should be solvent weld (glued) fittings, as the condensate is acidic the rubber O ring seals on the pushfit type fittings may perish.
