Chipped Glass on Stovax Riva2 Glass Front Gas Fire
Posted: Fri Nov 06, 2015 6:22 pm
After my daughter 'melted' her polyester top on my fairly new glass fronted gas fire I attempted to remove the polyester with a razor blade.
All went well except now I am worried there is a tiny 'chip' out of the glass.
(Not sure how a razor blade could have done that?)
Anyway I'm a bit nervous about turning the fire on (dramatic images in my mind of glass exploding everywhere!!).
But replacement glass is £430!!
Am I being silly? Should I just use the fire?
All advice most welcome!
