Hi all, Removing gas meter cupboard steel pipe now capped as meter, now sited outside. Is it definitely main supply input or possibly old output to house?
Anyway, I prefer to remove it, avoiding difficulties of gas engineer visit if safe to do so? Surely he will only uncap, operate valve & check no residual or live mains pressure?
