What is the minimum distance a 15mm domestic gas pipe can be fitted to a hot water pipe? Are there any remedies if they are close eg. insolation?

Are there any other regulations regarding their positioning eg. electric cables, enclosed spaces?

Don't think so within the house. Think it's 8 inches if they are underground.

Rule of thumb might be how close are the gas and water inlets on your boiler?

your gas and water need to be 25mm apart from and electrical cabling, and a clipping distance :

15mm vert-2m
15mm horiz-1.5m
22mm vert-2.5m
22mm horiz 2m
n.b between each clip.

gas supply out side:

375mm min depth if it under driveway or used fro heavy traffic area/min depth of 40mm under slabs or patio.

hope this helps you out,
