VOKERA LINEA 28 COMBI BOILER -
My boiler lost pressure (had been leaking drops of water for a while). So I refilled it and have left the reilling cap on. Pressure has risen to 1.9 bar. I have had to leave the refill cap on. If I take it off water pours out and pressure it lost. I need to call an engineer in, but like to have some idea as to what the problem might be. Any ideas or suggestions??

RR,

MAYBE BOILER INLET VALVE IS FAILING.

(SMALL DRIP AT 1.0 bar PRESSURE).
WHEN YOU OVER FILLED THE BOILER,
PRESSURE INCREASED(I.9bar).
THIS HAS HIGHLIGHTED THE PROBLEM TO A GREATER EXTENT
(MORE WATER LEAKING OUT).

HAVE CORGI GUY CONFIRM FAULT, REMOVE AND REPLACE INLET VALVE/BOILER STOPCOCK.

Do you mean the non-return valve leaks when you remove the re-filling hose ?

replace non-return valve, you don't need a engineer - just drain boiler, remove and replace non-return valve then re-pressurise system.

Hope this helps
