[b]I have a door which needs to be (Toed and Healed) my problem is how to take off the beading on the door. Thanks Pete.[/b]

bead removal

to remove the bead you will need a flat wide sharp wood chisel or a
thin scraper
to remove the bead place the chisel/scraper inbetween the frame and the
bead, tapping with the hammer prise the bead slowly continue tapping or it will go back in,start at the middle of the door on the longest beads first.
once removed to toe and heal the door,keep the door closed not locked
you will ned a glazing spade its the safest way to lift the frame off the
glass,then slide the required packer on top of the existing ones there.
when replacing the beads use a glass cleaner to make the rubber slide on the glass ,this will prevent breakages.
