DOUBLE GLAZING WINDOWS DIFFICULT TO OPEN

We moved into our house 3 years ago, it had been UPVC glazed the year before by the former owners, who obviously did not go to reputable companies, just tart the place up and sell for profit.

The bedroom and bathroom windows are very stiff to open via the handle, they seem to catch when opening. One of the opening windows in our bedroom is a real effort to open as it seems to catch badly at the bottom, so we've given up using it at all.

We have had someone round from another company and said they were badly fitted and probably better to replace, but just wondered if there is anything possible we could do.

One other question. We had a UPVC front and back door fitted about a year and a half ago. The front door is fine but i'm not sure about the back door. There seems to be a gap at the bottom that you can stick your finger through ot the outside in the corners, hence to say we have a party of ants come in each year, is this normal or badly fitted too. We had the people back a couple of time and they readjusted the door and said it was normal.

I think they are probabably fitted incorrectly
get a level and check the window and door, if they are out of level no ammount of ajusting will solve the problem. So they will need refitting
Sorry.
