Convert to double glazing but keep original leaded lights

We have feature leaded lights at the top part of every window in our 1930s period house. They're in excellent nick and all original so we'd hate to lose or replace them with the fake type. But we really need to convert to double glazing.

I know these top panes would never be truly double glazed but my ideal is that the lower (main parts) are proper, wooden double glazed panels, and the top just has a secondary pane added.

Is it possible to replace the windows and incorporate the original features?
Know anyone who could do it?

Hi dodo
Any decent glazing company would be able to remove the lead lights without damage then using recycled lead lights resize and then use in a triple glazed unit. You then have the benefits of DG but with original lead design which looks afective.the only draw back is the time this can take for the lead light to be resized hope this has helped.
