Hi All.

For mirror that is going to be screwed to the wall in the bathroom and glass that is going to be screwed down onto a cabinet surface, also in the bathroom, am I correct in assuming that the holes that need to be drilled in both need to be sized so that it is taken into account that the glass and mirror are going to expand? If so, how much expansion should I allow for?

How much bigger than the size of the screws/bolts do the holes need to be?

The mirror is about 6ft x 1.5ft and is going onto a tiled wall. Will 'mirror screws' be ok? What size (length and diameter) screws will I need for a secure fit?

I plan on having 6 holes for the mirror. How far from the edges of the mirror should the screws ideally be?

Sorry, I just remembered another important question. For screwing the glass down onto the surface of the cabinet, do I need to use some sort of plastic/nylon washers or spacers a) between the surface of the cabinet, b) between the screw fitting and the surface of the glass and c) inside the actual hole, to protect the glass in each case or can I get away with not having washers?
