Hello
Had a double glazed door fitted a while back, now its pretty cold have noticed the door seems very loose on the seal, allowing cold air through the seal, barely creates a seal near the handle/lock section.
Is there any adjstment to make the door close "further"
The door does eem to be aligned OK
Thanks Dawks

dawks,
If its a timber door and frame you need to remove the lock plate, recut the recess and move the plate nearer the sealing strip. If its and aluminium or upvc door there is generally enough slack in the lock plate to make the adjustment - undo the screws and move it.

On the door there are 3 hinges. There is a little round plastic cover,Remove it with a stanley knife. Then you will see an allen key socket,Insert the correct size and slowly turn it,The door can be adjusted by about 3-4mm do each 1,but dont mess around adjusting back and forth ,spend your time checking by closing the door and locking it.
Check the clearence is the same by eyeing up the door as you close it.
