Double Glazed Door - not closing on seal

Hello
Recent fitted double glazed back door, now that it is cold, have noticed the door does not compress the seal very well, and therefore allows some cold air in !.
Making the kitchen cold - Not good
Is there any adjustment to force door to close "further"
Thanks Dawks

dawks,
My first reply disappeared in the DIY doctor ether so here it is again.
If the door frame is timber, remove the lockplate, enlarge the recesses towards the seal strip and refit the lockplate so it is closer to the seal.
If the door is Aluminium or upvc the lock plate should be sloppy enough (once the fixing screws are slackened) to allow you to make the same adjustment. If the door is good quality you may find excentric cams behind the lockplate fixing screws and adjusting these will move the lockplate.

On the door locking mechanism there are 3 round metal runners that move when you lift the handle up,There may also be 2 hooks there aswell.
To get more compression turn the runners using an allen key they are oval in design and will pull the door against the recievers,Keep trying till you feel the door tighten,Also use grease on all the mechanism to prevent
corrosion.
