Hi folks,
Looking for some advice into the practicalities of trimming a upvc window, I have an old unit i would like to fit into my shed, problem is its too large at present, however the window is made up with a top hopper over a tilt and tun unit, question is could i remove the hopper and cut out the associated part of the frame so giving me the tilt and turn window/frame which would fit my shed perfect.

Sorry for the confusion,you may refer to it as a toplight or a fanlight, it is basically an opening window that is one part of the unit i have the other part being the tilt and turn window.

ok sure, that can work, you can buy plastic trims, flat architrave comes in the following, D section (20mm) wide 45, or 65mm wide up to 90mm to fit the trims you can buy double sided sticky tape or trim tape as its called, or use superglue and activator spray
