UPVC Door Hinges Broken by Wind

by BRENTBOOTH » Sat Aug 13, 2016 10:54 pm

The wind has caught one half of my conservatory door and pulled 2 Hinges from the frame and broke off the screws. I have managed to push the two pins back into the frame, however, I either need to remove the door from the Hinges and re=drill the screw holes or replace all three Hinges. I'd prefer to try repair in the first instance.
Can anyone advise me on how to get the door removed from the Hinges? Do the Hinges have a central pin that if removed I could just life the door off, if so help I do I get them out.
Any idea what size drill bit I might need to use to re=drill the broken screws out?
I really appreciate you taking the time to help me a different I can return the favour please just ask.

Brent

Cheers for the suggested drill size, really appreciated.

Do you have any idea how to remove the door from its Hinges? I have done this job before.

Regards

Brent
