Can anyone suggest a quick fix for getting rid of an inch of water trapped between a double glazing glass panel? Replacement is the long term solution, but is there a less satisfactory but quicker and cheaper fix?

It looks like you have timber windows so open the window and carefully drill upwards and through the glazing gasket. Be very careful not to hit either of the glass panes.
