Hiya, looking for something to improve my new statics underfllor insulation because it is only insulated for summer use and I plan to use it into the colder months.
Something flexible would be useful but not loft insulation.
By the way,it is raised 8' off the ground and the framework has timbers which will make fixing quite easy.
Anyone any experience in statics ???!!!
Help much appreciated

You could use kingspan panels and cut it to fit tight. It comes in thicknesses from 50mm up to 150mm.
Or use sprayfoam - Google expandingfoamkits.co.uk

Another alternative, which is much easier to fit than celotex or kingspan is a reflective barrier insulator.
Make sure that the specification stipulates that the material is waterproof, A great advantage of this type of insulation apart from the ease of fitting, is that it also acts as an air barrier. Air leakage is usually the factor which gives the highest rate of heat loss.

The waterproof properties of the material also prevent water ingress through the floor, helping to reduce moisture content of the air inside the van, which helps in controlling condensation levels.
