Pottery kiln lining wool for internal wall insulation

Hi all
While looking for a good material for insulating my single skinned outhouse (rendered breeze blocks), I came across a length of unused kiln lining wool, and thought this material is as good as (if not better than) any insulation products out there, as a pottery kiln heated to 1100C is cool to touch on the outside!!!
Any thoughts?? The wool is about 20mm thick.
