Bad insulation advice from National Supplier

Guys, take a look at this image which was taken in a London branch of a national supplier of DIY goods and "uh-hum" help and advice?!
The insulation is so tightly packed into the floor void it is virtually useless and without a gap between the top of the insulation and the underside of the floor it will not take long before the consdensation starts either rotting the underside of the floor or dripping down onto the insulation from where it will filter through to rot the ceiling rafters and damage the plasterboard......Would you trust advice from these guys?
We have deliberately not named the brand but if you like, you can do it.
To find out how to do this job properly, what to use and where to buy it from follow this link to our own page on how to insulate a loft floor to the current building regulation advice of 270mm of loft insulation.
