IWI Internal Corner Detailing and Vapour Sealing Corners of Room

Morning all,
Hopefully this is a fairly simple one.
I'm internally insulating our bedroom, but have a quick question WRT how to vapour seal the internal corners.
I've tried taping them; but it's an absolute nightmare to get the tape to lie into the corners. Should I just use an acoustic (mastic) sealant?
I'm using the way m battery method.
