Gap Between Last Rafter and Brick Wall and How to Insulate?

Hello. I’m in the process of insulating my roof inbetween the rafters with Celotex 50mm pir board. However the gap between the last rafter and the brick wall is to tight to wedge Celotex in there. Is it best to use mineral wool or expansion foam. The gaps vary from 50mm to 20 mm. Do I still need to leave a 50mm air gap as would be difficult to do when using expansion foam.
