Condensation and Occationally Frost on Insulated Shed Roof

Hi All,

Have recently installed a home office with side storage shed and noticed that the side we have insulated always has condensation formed on the outside of the roof (frost if it's cold enough), however the storage side of the shed's roof is dry.

The shed is timber, felt-covered plywood roof and we have insulated the walls and ceiling with celotex, vapour barrier and plasterboard.

Should I be concerned that condensation is forming also underneath the felt?

My theory is that the insulated side of the shed remains cooler than the other side, and is kept cool as the other part (and outside air) heats up.

Also worth mentioning that there are many other sheds nearby and none have condensation on the roof.

Thanks,

Dan
