1930s solid brick wall bedroom. I have removed old shot plaster. Building a insulated stud with a 40mm air gap between it and brick wall. Brick wall has vent brick so gap is ventilated. Should I seal the gap between floorboards and brick wall to stop humid air getting behind insulated wall. Or leave open to vent the rafter ends under floorboards. Room below kitchen will also be insulated at some point.
Thanks for any advice

Hi lesg,
You won’t stop damp air getting behind the insulated wall so floor best left with a ventilation gap.
