I want to build a garden swing seat. I want to copy a design a friend has in his garden, which he bought from an American company that no longer trades in this country. Instead of swinging on chains, his seat swings on hinges attached at the bottom. I have tried everywhere to find these hinges but I've had no luck so far. Is there anybody out there who knows of any suppliers and can point me in the right direction?

Your best bet is to go to your local ironmongers and ask them.
If they don't have it, they may be able to order it or may be able to get you a similar replacement
