Hopefully this is the right area to post this.

I have some internal security bolts fitted with torx bolts. The issue is the star fitting used to unscrew the bolts has been filled in and cannot be removed with pliers as they have been too well hammered. Does anyone know the best way to get the stars out so that the bolts can be removed? A couple of the star fillings were sticking out and I removed them with pliers, but the rest and been hammered in so they are flat, with nothing to get any grip on.

Hi thomwise,
Use an angle grinder fitted with a super slim cutting disc and form two flat on opposite sides of the head.
